lyrics
a threatening look plagiarized from a textbook
it comes as no surprise, overexposed and overbooked
I’m sorry that you’re feeling broken
I’m feeling broken too
the world’s unraveling around us
more than ever, we need something true
I need something true
and still you’re, “talking about staple shit”
with spite we indict the counterfeit
nothing to say, but I guess you say it the right way
it’s getting hard to tell the predator from the prey
it’s always been
truncheons, tear gas,
flags flown at half mast
Selma to the West Bank,
Johannesburg to Belfast
we explain to our daughters why disorder’s in the forecast
that’s why we put your program on blast

A fantastic album. I can see why they didn't continue under the name The Evens, as it's a different sound with the bass added. Coriky is the Evens + Joe Lally from Fugazi on bass. If you can imagine The Evens with a slightly more funky, aggressive sound like Fugazi... that's what you get! And there's no way that can ever go wrong. What a great debut album!! smiledozer

PIB is my favourite hardcore band. I love their sound and aggression. No one does it like them. It’s a perfect blend of hardcore, punk, grunge, dirty and grimey. PIB ‘til I DIE honeydill
Adopting an optimistic, genre-fluid mindset atypical to most contemporary punk rock, the Aussies rage against the machine with glee. Bandcamp New & Notable May 2, 2024
From the first deadened cowbell to the last dissonant guitar interval, Dutch quartet Geo's new record is shaped for impact. Bandcamp Album of the Day Apr 25, 2024

This album is amazing from start to finish! It's got such a cool, poetic, punk rock vibe. Hits the soul, for real. Please come play in Miami, Florida soon! Thank you for your art! richnice1975
